I have keychron c1 and i cleaned it today by taking off all they keys and soking them in water. Then i just cleaned all the gunk from the “?backplate?” with cuetips. Then i let the keys dry and inserted them in and now when i press the number 6 key the output is 6 followed by 7. So if i spam 6s it outputs 67676767676767. Also sometimes completely randomly when i press backslash It also outputs the number 7.
Could it be that some water got into the pcb and its shorting the contacts?

Possibly. You wanna disconnect the keyboard ASAP from your PC. Disassemble it and let it dry. Take a look if any corrosion has formed on the PCB and clean it off with isopropyl alcohol.
Should’ve just used rubbing alcohol
