I encountered this issue with my IDASEN desk recently, and I found a fix in The Other Place, so I though I’d share it on Lemmy as well :)
Just wanted to share a fix for when your Ikea Sit-Stand Desk is not moving up, but it will move down. I got a new Idasen desk today that wouldn’t move up, and it took me quite a while to stumble across a solution.
SOLUTION
- Unplug desk.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Plug in desk.
- Lower desk all the way (if it’s not already) and then release button
- Once again hold down the down button for 10 seconds
Following those step, my desk “bounced” back up a little and was ready to go.
