Hi! I’m traveling overseas soon and I’m looking for the ideal eyeshadow palette which has the following features:
- Small enough to fit into a makeup bag
- Mirror
- Black eyeshadow
- A taupe / light brown tone I can use for brows
- A lighter (ideally pink) hue for lids / inner corners
- Aesthetically pleasing and elegant
I’d like to spend no more than $50 if possible, does anything come to mind?
The UD Naked basics palettes
2nd exactly what I was thinking as well,
Depending on the travel you’re doing, might want to look into cream eyeshadow sticks and other cream makeup, nothing quite like opening up your cosmetics bag for an airport refresher and finding everything coated in eyeshadow/blush/bronzer dust. I had that happen once and survived the rest of the way without replacing everything, just looked crazy trying to baby wipe off all my stuff but I made sure to pack my makeup carefully when in transit after that
I love traveling with my Viseart cashmere palette. All their palettes are so elegant and tiny with a variety of shades, formulas.
I also really enjoy the drama of the tiny purple palette from Pat McGrath. That has good depth and is so cute!
Danessa Myricks Groundwork is my current palette that I can get brow, cheek and eyes.
Tartlette in Bloom is my go to! I keep it in my purse. I’ve used it in a pinch for bronzer and blush also
Recommend this one also. The packaging is sturdy and you can achieve a variety of looks with it. The shades “funny girl” and “rocker” can also double as a highlighter if you want (just to add on to the previous comment in regards to multifunctionality). I love using a damp brush to apply “rebel” and " leader" together on my bottom lash line. It makes my eyes pop!
Mario matte
I got a magnetic palette and put my favorite pans in there when I go on trips!
This. Build your own with a Z Palette or MYO Palette and get exactly what you want instead of chasing products that almost have the things you need.
