I really like that green Mido. Great collection. I think you need to level up on your next watch, so IWC would be a good direction to go. Omega would also be a great next step.

I tried on a Doxa for the first time last week and was bummed that it was too chunky for me. Chunky is definitely part of their DNA, so I wasn’t exactly shocked. It may work for you, but it wasn’t right for me.

She thinks you need more watches. Time to step up your game.

I try to give wrist time to all of my watches but the Sub definitely gets more time than anything else. If I had to go down to one watch, this would be it.

The only people that have noticed my Sub in public are also watch lovers and it led to a nice conversation. It’s only happened a few times. You should buy what you like and not worry about public perception.

If you want to stay away from Rolex regardless, I think a Grand Seiko or maybe Tag’s new Skipper would be nice adds. Bring in some more color. I’m not big on Tag Heuer, but that Skipper is nice!
