You can place small silicone o-rings between the board and the tray mount standoffs. If you don’t torque the screws down too much it’ll technically soften up the typing experience a bit. Not sure by how much because I modded my V5 then gave it to my brother hours later. I liked the V5 for the few months I used it. My brother seems to like it.
Even 10+ years ago people were saying reds for gaming simply due to the lower spring weight. Blacks vs. browns were down to preference, clears didn’t exist outside of “out of stock” options and blues were for people who wanted attention. Hearing the more recent take that blues are for “typists” (whatever that is) or “office use” just sounds like nonsense.
