Buying makeup for someone is not a good idea for a gift unless you know exactly what they use or you are very good at picking out makeup.

Since you have oily skin, skip the moisturizer. This myth of always using moisturizer started years ago to sell more face cream. Skip the primer. Instead “prime” your face first by dusting your face with a thin layer of talc face powder. This will leave your skin with a matte and dry canvas before applying foundation. Apply the foundation next. I would also try Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. It is pricey but the only foundation that truly sets well on oily skin. I would then use only powder blushes and eyes shadows. Your skin is oily so you don’t want to add any more oils that will cause your foundation to break down.
I would remove it otherwise the makeup can clog your pores and prevent you from sweating properly and you might end up with breakouts.
