I love how everybody has run out of ideas and/or creativity and they’re just pumping out old shoes in different colors. NB can’t even make a decent new 990 (v6 is garbage) so they have to rerelease the old ones in lame ass Easter egg colors. Adidas has been doing this forever with their originals. It’s crazy to me that sambas are $100 now. They were like $50-60 back in the day. I’m willing to pay extra for new technology and comfort, not because something is trendy.

I think you could do without the titans, fossils, and AX now that you’ve horologically matured a bit.

I think the hype reached a peak and we’re starting to see a decline. It seems people are not as excited about new releases. Also, luxury goods are the first to go during an economic downturn. I’ve always liked watches and always will, but there’s a lot of economic uncertainty in the air and one would be wise to keep money in the bank rather than plow it into a luxury watch when they have others just sitting at home.
