Ooh! I have a suggestion because I’m very fair and cool toned as well and I’ve searched for this very thing. For my cream contour now, I use and love the e.l.f. contour wand also in the fair shade. For a powder contour though, I actually use an eyeshadow. I found out it was way more likely I’d find a shade cool/gray enough in an eyeshadow than anything else though. So I found and now use the Sephora brand single matte eyeshadow in the shade 282 “my dear nude.” It has worked great!
The Saie liquid blushes. I would get the limited edition set of 3 minis they have out right now! I also love the Ilia tinted lip balms and the Summer Fridays butter balms. If you like fragrance, I recommend the Sol De Janeiro 68 fragrance (the pink one). They have a set I’m looking at currently with the body spray, body cream, and shower gel.
They haven’t changed my lips. They just feel way nicer and moisturize better than a gloss (I don’t like thick, sticky, goopy textures on my lips) but still add shine and sheer color. And I love just a sheer wash of color for my everyday look! I like the Kosas one but not the packaging so I probably won’t repurchase. I want to buy the new Milk one at some point (I tried in store and it was lovely) though as well as the e.l.f. one. I’ve also heard the Milani fruit fetish oil is an amazing affordable choice.
I really cannot pick one thing! This list will sound like I hate it lol but I actually do love the art of makeup and just playing with it doing different things. But here are big annoyances that come to mind:
• the cost
• the pain of constantly trying to get it to sit well and stay on your skin for more than an hour or two when your skin insists on producing unnecessary amounts of sebum
• the oversaturated market–endless options are super overwhelming to me
• the sense of pressure in the beauty/makeup world to always buy the newest releases when I already have more than I could ever use up
