When I first started collecting ‘higher end’ watches twenty years ago and bought my first Rolex, I was obsessed with the accuracy of it, checking it against time.gov every day, checking my watches against each other, ect.

I’m now at the point that those little details of something is +2 seconds, +12 seconds, it -25 seconds a day do not bother me a bit. If someone is really that concerned, just purchase a HEQ Grand Seiko, beautiful watch, string movement, and it’s like +/- 5 seconds per year. I picked one up this year and I literally only have to adjust it twice per year with the time change.

I’d keep the Explorer of the two…not a big fan of polished center links.

I’d have to mix the two, I enjoy the oyster case, but really like the color green Omega went with that one.

SPB149, the lighting is weird, the seconds had is actually gold-tone, and definitely an aftermarket NATO.

If it was me, I’d keep the Seiko SSK001 and sell off everything else.

I don’t own it anymore, it was stolen during a break-in over ten years ago, but my Rolex Oysterquartz.

You could hear the audible tick from across the room. I would still own it if it hadn’t been stolen.

The 1675…I had one (sold it to buy a APRO), and now have a 16700. Slim case GMT is the only Rolex I’ll own, I have no interest in any others.

Not only that, but my dad was a Dustoff pilot, served from Vietnam through the Gulf War, and I still have his Seiko he bought in Vietnam.
