Bottom. I used to line but I find it to be tedious. I love liquid lipsticks because I hate reapplying makeup. I don’t have time to primp mid day. I apply on the bottom, carry the color to the top, clean up around the cupids bow, set and go. It is the second to last step of my routine before setting spray.

Check out Wayne Goss on YT. He has numerous tutorials and has two channels. His videos are usually fairly short and to the point and he has addressed skincare and redness.

Wet n Wild has some of the best lipsticks for hella cheap.

Essence is fantastic for eye products (liner and mascaras) but I haven’t explored much else except their matte primer which was ok.

Rimmel has solid mascaras and eyeliners (just bought two Scandalash eyeliners actually that were delivered today.

Rebottle it until you can exchange it.

No need to feel lazy, wear it or don’t. It’s one thing to go to a job interview disheveled but consider the moment I guess? Some people like natural looks, some want to enhance but the social media norm is to present oneself like some sort of starlet and let’s be real most people aren’t that.

Have you considered easy five minute looks? There are tutorials that don’t require a lot of time to get ready if you learn techniques and you don’t have to doll up yourself like you’re attending the Met Gala everyday. Find products that work for you that multitask like a cream blusher/lipstick combo or a daily moisturizer and a concealer and a neutral lipstick or lip balm. I feel sometimes people get intimidated because of television and media but there’s some insane standard of beauty that is just asinine to me. I wish we were taught to just love ourselves and how we look as we are and that makeup wasn’t used as some tool to “be pretty.” Idealistic of me I know and I love makeup, but I also love art so being able to do art on my face is my motivation. :)
