Yeah i think its just practice. I watch a lot of drag makeup tutorials bc theyre fun, and a lot of the queens and kings say they started out doing their makeup like 3-4 hours and then nail it down to less time

I do, i started around 15/16? Around that age, and its totally alright to not want to wear makeup if youre not into it
Theres no good or bad products per se, just what works well with your particular skin. Like ive seen some people react horribly with high end makeup and do well with low end ones, so its really a lot of trial and error. You could get travel size stuff and see what fits and get your shades right, and get a makeup cleanser if you do want to get into makeup, because skincare is really step 1 to makeup imo
Right now my routine is probably just concealer, mascara, one eyeshadow color, and a lip tint if im just going out to see friends and such but i use a full face when im going out to more formal events
I have sensitive skin, like i get allergic reactions and heat rashes very easily and it tends to show up in my skin, but thank god my makeup doesnt irritate my skin
Also if you know what irritates your skin, you could take a look at the ingredients list of the products that catch your eye and eliminate the stuff that has your particular irritants
Bronzer, idk it looks so muddy on my face so ill stick with my taupe contour
