Silicones in foundations make me breakout. Mostly Cyclopentasiloxane but Dimethicone comes in close second. From my limited understanding and from what I found on the internet, “silicone isn’t pore-clogging in and of itself but can create a barrier that traps other comedogenic substances, thereby increasing the chance of an acne flare”. I’ve basically given up on liquid foundations and am about to try bareminerals powder, so hopefully that works out. I’ve also been recommended NARS Light Reflecting Advanced Skincare Foundation which is liquid but haven’t tried it.
