Can someone explain to me why some Vans Authentic shoes have a slightly taller sole and rubber upper-wrap which seems to come further up onto the canvas upper? I’m not talking about the “Platform” sneakers as those are taller than what im referring to. I’ve included a comparison image as an example. I prefer the taller sole but don’t know what search term to use to find them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Maybe it’s the skate version or outlet store versions idk
Skate version has a different design for the rubber that wraps around the toes being squared off at the ends, and duracap branding. The doheny looks more like the era with padding
i don’t think there’s an outlet version of the authentic, they just sell authentics
