Nars radiant long wear foundation. Love it, colors are great transfer resistant, and gives a healthy glow. Their concealer in the pot is great too. Once you’ve got your foundation and concealer right, the rest is a breeze. You always have to start with a good base. Cream blush if you just want a healthy glow, powder if you want more color and longevity (elf makes a good cream one, and Nars or Benefit make good powder blushes) make sure you have one set of cool shades (pinks, berries) and one set of warm (bronze or peachy) in blush and lip color. Don’t mix them, warm cheeks, warm lips, cool cheeks, cool lips…usually depends on what you’re wearing. Eyeshadow, stick to one’s that apply easily…you shouldn’t have to rub the shadow pan hard to pick up a good amount of color…if you do, it’s too dry and won’t spread as easily. Good brushes that don’t shed (real techniques makes some good ones) and good sponges, elf makes good ones. Enjoy yourself, creating your look should be fun, not stressful…
