I have freckles and as much as I love my long wear foundation Estée Lauder double wear. It covers too much. I’ve tried a couple hacks. Didn’t work. I went patchy. But Estée Lauder double covers my freckles up too much. They’re completely covered. Al for ages now I’ve been looking for something that lasts such a long time but isn’t so full coverage.

I’ve also tried several techniques to no avail. I’m starting to think a long lasting light coverage foundation even exists. Please share some advice? I’d appreciate it so much

I used to love double wear, but now I use Missha M perfect cover bb cream. It has low-medium coverage and my skin looks perfect all day (I have a lot of redness).

The downside is the shade range is catered to the asian market, so…extremely light.

Mix the double wear with a little bit of primer to sheer it out. I used to do this all the time for bridal clients. Alternately, use the tiniest little bit of it and apply lightly with a wet beauty blender. Use a touch more where you need concealer.

The great thing about full coverage foundations is that they can be manipulated to be very very sheer when needed.

Try powder foundation with a stipple brush, it’s what I do for sheer matte coverage.
