Even if you haven’t tried every single product from that brand, are you convinced there’s nothing good they sell?

Agreed! I feel like I’m going crazy when people say the shadows are good. They’ve all been duds for me

This is so funny to me because I’ve bought several of their products as far as eyeshadows and haven’t had any issues. I think people also forget they’re like a lower end mid priced. It’s like a step up from drug store so it’s not going to be ABH pigmented. For the price I personally can’t complain because I can’t afford higher mid priced products.

Another thing is, price-quality aside, that many people forget high pigmentation is not an actual requirement for makeup nor a quality indicator. Not everyone likes pigmented stuff and some prefer a formula that keeps things on the less bold side or lets you buildup (just look at most asian products. Many euroamerican people think they are “bad” products because they are “not pigmented enough” but that’s actually how they are designed to perform).

I love the look of Asian makeup, I’m actually trying to pick a palette. Yes, they’re less pigmented and I love that. I’ve never done bold looks so this style fits me perfectly. Still, when I said the Revolution palette is not pigmented I meant that it’s dusty, patchy and that it takes a lot to get it out of the pan. When I finally managed to get it on my skin, the fallout was pretty bad.

I love brands like ELF, ColourPop, and NYX which at a tiny bit more expensive but some of the Revolution 9 pans are about 9$. ELF 10 pans are 10$ and the bite size 4 pans are 3$. So I’d call them similar.

I’ve wanted to love some of the Revolution pallets or at least like them! For me they leave so much fallout it’s insane if it actually is pigmented. Other shades I feel like I’m grinding into my brush just to roughly sweep on my lids like a preschooler to get any color.

I’ve bought their Blade brow products and they work so well. Better than any other brow pencil for me.

The 18 pan metal tin palettes are good, the 15 pan and smaller plastic palettes are pretty sucky. At least in my experience.

I bought one of the smaller ones with lil cherries on it and it’s decent. Their quality isn’t consistent at all.
