I think Jenna Marbles did a video on the best mascara to cry in like 5(+) years ago. It should be easy to find with google

I’m afraid if she’s beyond the very beginning of a dementia diagnosis your mom wouldn’t be a good candidate for any sort of lash service.
She would have to lay very still with her eyes closed the entire time for an extended amount of time. That could be very difficult for your mom and I can’t imagine a technician wanting to risk a client opening her eyes and possibly getting product in them.
To be fair, every mascara will clump and feel itchy. Tubing formulas would be the most gentle to remove and least likely to smear, but she will still feel it when rubbing her eyes.
Maybe try a light lash serum like Maybelline? It will condition the lashes she does have to help them look a smidge darker, will absorb quickly (nothing to pick at), and not clump or smudge when she rubs her eyes. CoverGirl and Neutrogena both have formulas too. I would suggest castor oil but it can feel heavy and oily quickly.
Second vote for UD Moon Dust Shadows.
A budget option, Elf makes a liquid metallic eyeshadow.
ELF in No Regrets is a nice true red
When I was younger and more combo/oily powder foundation was easy.
Since my skin has turned drier with age I swear by a good tinted moisturizer. I can apply it with clean hands and don’t need to fool around with a brush or sponge. I’ve also switched to cream blush I can tap on and then blend out with my fingers. If it’s going to be a long day or particularly humid I do set with a little powder.
Agree 100%. It was fine for high school but I’m glad I’ve come along way from then 🫣😬 the pictures are pure cringe
I love brands like ELF, ColourPop, and NYX which at a tiny bit more expensive but some of the Revolution 9 pans are about 9$. ELF 10 pans are 10$ and the bite size 4 pans are 3$. So I’d call them similar.
I’ve wanted to love some of the Revolution pallets or at least like them! For me they leave so much fallout it’s insane if it actually is pigmented. Other shades I feel like I’m grinding into my brush just to roughly sweep on my lids like a preschooler to get any color.
Somebody already said it but I second that buying foundation is a PITA
but wearing it… lipstick. No matter what it’s either gone, smudged, or on my teeth
I’ve loved their concealer basically since it came out. I haven’t used their foundation.
