I tried their famous concealer, tape whatever, and could NOT make it work for me. Maybe I bought the wrong color or something but then I tried another Tarte product and it was so impressive that I can’t remember what it was to save my life and threw it away almost immediately.

I have one good pallet from them that I got as a gift years ago and I still use it today. It’s a contour/bronzer/eyeshadow thing that smells like chocolate and it’s my eyeryday go to because helps me achieve natural look without having to pull out too many pallets. But that’s about it. I tried getting an eyeshadow palette and the formula was so different than my main hoe. Maybe because it was older it was better idk.

Their new version of Shape Tape is an absolute dream for me; I believe it’s called ultra creamy? I can never get my under eyes to look good (I also have tear troughs) and this concealer does it for me. I haven’t used any other product that does it for me.

Tarte face products make me break out and I hate scented eyeshadows because sensitive skin breaks out so yeah. Tarte is useless.

Can’t agree with this one! I’ve gotten a lot of compliments using lip cheat love trap (I blend with pillow talk and another color make an ombré lip). Pillow talk plain is a good nude for me as well. I recently got the pillow talk liquid blush (bc I had been using the lip stick as blush) and I love the formula. Very light and hasn’t made me breakout.

Also, I love how the lipglosses look on me. The creme pot eyeshadows are lovely and this other eye shadow kit I got a lot of compliments on. I’m a fairly light make up wearer and like things to be quick and easy while still looking put together. I think Charlotte T makeup I’ve bought does that.

Only thing I don’t like is I do find the lip cheat gets dry very quickly but that may be part of what makes it last? Over time it gets harder to blend. I wouldn’t mind replacing it if I knew something was better with a color just as flattering for me. For the record I’m fair olive. Not a lot of make up is compatible with that coloring surprisingly.

I had one of their UD Naked palette dupes 7 years back and I really liked it! Enough that I went looking for it a few years ago and was disappointed when I couldn’t find it. I had a coworker ask me if I was wearing Modern Renaissance when I had it on lol.

It was a pretty good palette for a beginner. All nudes/pinks and a mix of mattes/shimmers. I def had to use eyeshadow primer, but it blended well. Wouldn’t rebuy it now that I’ve tried better (and more expensive) formulas, but for someone who’d only had experience with drugstore formulas and random free Lancôme / Estée Lauder palettes from my mom, it was good.

This is so funny to me because I’ve bought several of their products as far as eyeshadows and haven’t had any issues. I think people also forget they’re like a lower end mid priced. It’s like a step up from drug store so it’s not going to be ABH pigmented. For the price I personally can’t complain because I can’t afford higher mid priced products.

Another thing is, price-quality aside, that many people forget high pigmentation is not an actual requirement for makeup nor a quality indicator. Not everyone likes pigmented stuff and some prefer a formula that keeps things on the less bold side or lets you buildup (just look at most asian products. Many euroamerican people think they are “bad” products because they are “not pigmented enough” but that’s actually how they are designed to perform).

I love the look of Asian makeup, I’m actually trying to pick a palette. Yes, they’re less pigmented and I love that. I’ve never done bold looks so this style fits me perfectly. Still, when I said the Revolution palette is not pigmented I meant that it’s dusty, patchy and that it takes a lot to get it out of the pan. When I finally managed to get it on my skin, the fallout was pretty bad.

I love brands like ELF, ColourPop, and NYX which at a tiny bit more expensive but some of the Revolution 9 pans are about 9$. ELF 10 pans are 10$ and the bite size 4 pans are 3$. So I’d call them similar.

I’ve wanted to love some of the Revolution pallets or at least like them! For me they leave so much fallout it’s insane if it actually is pigmented. Other shades I feel like I’m grinding into my brush just to roughly sweep on my lids like a preschooler to get any color.

Revolution Ultra Cream Bronzer. I got it in the shade Light and it actually works well for my very fair, very cool toned skin. It has a slightly rosy tone to it. Could definitely be rosier and then it would be perfection. But as it is, it’s pretty darn good! And I love the formula. It’s very creamy. Very pigmented - only takes a small amount. But blends out SO easy and melts into the skin. And it sets on its own and lasts all day without me needing to set it with a powder at all! I’ve been really impressed with it! It’s the main one I used all summer and now. And I really struggle finding bronzers that work for me (mostly due to shade though).

I keep going back to PF products because they have good clean ingredients which don’t break out my sensitive skin. I collect their blushes and healthy velvet lipsticks!

I loved their shimmer eyeshadow in my teens and I actually re-bought it for halloween as a body shimmer and it freaking DELIVERED.

That little box with the lace packaging and ombre shades of pure shimmer? She *lived* in my backpack for at least 8 years. I must hit pan and re-bought at least 4 times. Glazed donut for lyfe.

I have a sample size of the butter bronzer that I got as part of a sample pack and it has no smell. I actually really like it and the color is nice on my skin, but I don’t think I could use it if it had a strong scent.

WHY ARE THEY SO ORANGE. WHY. I loved their lil ombre shiny eyeshadow palette when I was in middle school and actually recently re-bought it (because *nostalgia*) to use as a body-shimmer for halloween and I loved that little walk through memory lane but their foundation and concealer are just horrific.

They’re like my go-to brand I love how everything looks, I love their packaging the most, everything I’ve ever tried (I don’t cover my skin with anything so can speak to that stuff) has been incredible except the lip injector but thankfully it was just a free sample. I’m bummed seeing people think it’s overrated lol I love it and I think it’s so fun!! I do think the scents could/would be totally off putting to people but I personally love it.

Okay I hate their blushes but the heart packaging is too darling lol. I love their mascaras but there are just so many better products on the market. I think the branding is just shock-factor and sell for the “scandal” of the names, the product itself just doesn’t deliver

i dont ever buy much elf but i bought a concealer from them not too long ago, i just wanted something cheap that i could wear on lazy days when i just wanna put on a little bit of something to run errands or what ever. i didn’t have high expectations, i thought it would just be a concealer at the very least tho… it’s the worst concealer i have ever tried. it’s like it’s not even real… like it’s a fake product or something? ive had concealers i didnt like bc after i put it on it didn’t hold up well over time but this elf concealer just wouldn’t even “go on” in the first place. the consistency was just…, not makeup at all. i tried so many ways to make it work but it just isn’t concealer

LH cosmetics (linda hallberg). I’ve tried 3 products from her and I’ve hated them all, I bought a brow gel and the applicator was seemingly made by metal, probably not but that’s how it felt. I bought a palette and it was super patchy. The third thing I don’t actually remember anymore, I just remember I hated it.
