If I’m going to use glitter or any eyeshadow with fall out, I do my eye makeup first.

I think you’re looking for a tinted moisturizer or a skin tint
I always go for cooler toned neutral leaning shades. Taupes, greys, mauves, light browns, pinks, champagnes, silvers
I avoid pretty much anything warm toned unless it happens to go really well with my outfit
Same. I’ve been on the hunt for the most full coverage foundation for the past 3 years to cover my freckles and I’ve yet to find it. I’ve tried Estée Lauder dw, kvd good apple balm and serum foundation, IT cosmetics cc cream, dermablend, and none of them cover my freckles. I don’t think there’s anything out there that can truly cover them and it’s so frustrating because some of them are advertised to cover tattoos but can’t hide freckles 😭
Idk if this is just me, but I feel I really need to cake on makeup to get it to truly show up in photos. I’ll wear full coverage foundation, full coverage concealer, contour, eyeshadow and it really only seems to show up well in photos depending on the lighting. My wedding photos all looked so good and you could see everything clearly, but I had sooo much makeup on that it was hard to take off
Using a skin tone eyeshadow or powder foundation to blend out harsh eyeshadow lines or overly pigmented shadows. I learned this from Angela Bright
I used to have this issue and realized I was either using the wrong shade or using the wrong brush. If you are going for a more toned down look, use a fluffier brush which will deposit less product. If you are using a very pigmented blush to begin with such as the rare beauty liquid blush, use a very small amount and be very light handed. I find I look like a clown way too easily with blush so I stick to very sheer, light powder formulas that barely show up.
As far as dark circles go, you may need to use a color corrector with some concealer over it. I have very dark circles that almost look black and I use the Bobbi brown corrector stick in shade bisque.
Primer - it makes no difference in the way my skin feels or looks or how my foundation wears
Fake lashes - I feel like they overpower the whole look and take away from my eyeshadow or liner
Bronzer - I straight up don’t get the point of bronzer. It looks like orange streaks going down the sides of cheeks and I have never seen it look good on anyone. It doesn’t contour or give structure, nor does it make people look like they have a natural tan, so I just don’t get it
Nyx epic ink. Nothing removes it easily. Not micellar water, eye makeup remover, a cleansing balm, nothing.
I’ve had bad experiences with their brushes lol. They all fell apart on me and were shedding. I recently tried the new lip oil and I hated it.
Pillow Talk is supposed to be one of those universally flattering shades, but it’s orange on my fair, cool skin.
Charlotte Tilbury - overpriced, over hyped, shitty packing, mediocre quality
Elf- every single thing I have tried turned out to be hot garbage. I continue to give them chances since they’re affordable
I love the colour pop SSS in I heart this
I actually have 2 Kvd foundations (the good apple balm and serum foundation) but I’ve never tried the original lock it!!
Thanks so much for your suggestions!! So I’m fair/light with cool undertones and pretty dark freckles all over my cheeks, mostly near my cheek bones and close to my eyes. Those are the ones hardest to cover. I actually had the Jouer foundation in my Sephora cart last night but I’m debating on whether I wanna buy it or not cus I have dry skin and it doesn’t have the best reviews, especially from dry skinned people 😭 how do you like it?
Yes I actually looked into this one once before but then noticed how limited the shade range was and it didn’t look like they had an option for me. I’m going to save it though to swatch next time I’m in store! Thank you!!
Unpopular opinion, but elf. I have literally yet to try a high quality product from them. I have hated just about everything I’ve tried and yet I keep giving them chances since they’re so affordable
Seems to be leaning more towards cool but hard to say depending on lighting
It broke me out horribly so I instantly sent it back lol. They did a nice job on the color match though
Heavy black liner in the water line and heavy contour that isn’t blended well
