Just saw the overhyped thread and it got me wondering what some of y’all’s underrated brands are? Or products specifically?

Asian brands like etude house, Tony moly, canmake, 3cE, and innisfree/corsx are great skincare/makeup brands - unfortunately they do not have a wide range of color matching when it comes to their foundations, but everything else is fair game!

Urban Hydration, specifically their micellar water. It gets EVERYTHING off and it’s a better value than Garnier. I also use it to soak my makeup brushes before washing them

Smashbox Always On foundation. I’m not satisfied with the lack of hype for it bc it’s BOMB. it is truly “always on” and transfer proof. Gives an amazing matte luminous glow

NYX lip pencils. They go on so smoothly without scratching or tugging

Pat McGrath liquid liner. Probably the only liquid liner I’ve been able to do a perfect wing with lol No skips or randomly drying out. you don’t even have to shake it

ABH Cosmos palette. This is my first palette from her, and I love it. The balance between neutral mattes and bold shimmers/glitters

Philosophy Microdelivery peel kit. I’ve been using it for the past 8 years, and it truly helps with hyperpigmentation and breakouts. It’s a little pricey, but it WORKS

BH Cosmetics brushes. They pick up product very well. No shedding and don’t stain as easily as some of my other brushes

Smashbox mattifying primer. As an oily girl, I can’t live without it. It’s the only one that seems to work for me

Wet n Wild has some of the best lipsticks for hella cheap.

Essence is fantastic for eye products (liner and mascaras) but I haven’t explored much else except their matte primer which was ok.

Rimmel has solid mascaras and eyeliners (just bought two Scandalash eyeliners actually that were delivered today.
