Came into the company outside hire as a Store Manager 6 months back (unaware at the time how bad the company is doing), chasing a career to hopefully District and Regional positions. Post store layoffs I’m now considering quitting the company due to potentially it going underwater. I get loyalty but that doesn’t get you anywhere in this day and age. Any opinions on whether staying or leaving to pursue promotions elsewhere?
Any company that makes a big deal about “family” is very likely the exact opposite especially if it’s corporate.
