What is the return policy exactly? I bought a pair of Van’s mesh sneakers back in June. I’ve been wearing them pretty much daily. I just saw a few days ago that both sneakers have tears in the side of them already. I don’t have the receipt anymore, the tags are no longer on the sneakers, and I don’t have the box anymore. Am I still able to return them/exchange them for a new pair?

You’re that person in a restaurant that eats like all of his Burger and then says that he didn’t really like it and wants his money back for it aren’t you.

no, not at all. vans return policy says they must be unworn, the only exception would be for some freak defect that wasn’t the customers fault that shouldn’t have happened. you’ve been wearing them daily for five months, and mesh is not the sturdiest material so that would be considered normal wear and tear. without a receipt after 60 days you’d only be able to exchange/get store credit for whatever they ring up as when you bring them back, but you’d still need the box so they can scan it anyways. i’m sorry if this comes off as blunt but there is no way they’d accept it

Take them in anyway, you for sure won’t get your money back but you may be able to swap them out for another pair. I was a manager for Vans for years and I would do these for my customers as I believed Vans should stand by their product.
