I just bought some like-new vans for super cheap and I love them but they’re a few sizes too big. I thought it wouldn’t be too noticeable but they look big on me, and since I have narrow feet I tie the laces super tight and then the shoes look extra abnormally long on me. I know it’s possible to like shrink the length of crocs and rubber shoes in boiling water…would that work or is there any other way to shrink the soles of the vans to make the length shorter? Btw the fabric material is just the basic canvas material and they’re the authentic low top shoes.
The trouble of doing this is just too much hassle. Take them back or resell them and get new ones. I know that’s not the answer you wanted but lol bro trying to shrink a pair of shoes sounds ridiculous
What the fuuu
Stuff it with multiple insoles…put socks in the shoe…resell it and buy something your size. I can’t even make 1 size bigger work…
You could have your foot lengthened but that will probably hurt more than buying a smaller size shoe. one procedure
Bro add insoles inside your shoes depending on insole each one is about a size bigger. Been doing it for years left foot is about a size bigger than right foot.
I’ve shrunk mine by accident by throwing them in the washer and drier on full heat
Lol not possible
Do they not look like flippers on you?
Wear thick or multiple pairs of socks
I’d try several of these. Wash in hot water and then dry. Also socks and inserts.
It’s definitely not gonna shrink as much as you need. Check mercari because vans don’t have great resale value so you can get them cheap
Or vinted
