I have very thin lips that dry out easily. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars trying to find a lip balm that actually hydrates and stays on the lips. What is your holy grail lip balm or lip gloss that is hydrating and lasts?

    I reeeeally like Glossier’s Balm Dotcom in the original formula (just hot cocoa and cookie butter atm). I just got them as my first-ever Glossier purchase and I’m obsessed. I know they’re expensive and there are probably equally good options out there though.

    Lip balm that stays for me - lanolips lemonaid treatment, also their glossy balm candy is cute as a lip gloss :) the inkey list lip treatment is good

    The Blistex lip balm. Stick with the blue cap only, none of the special editions esp not the squeeze tube intense repair one.

    For me, nothing beats aquaphor healing ointment. I use that, not the actual aquaphor lip balm. You can buy it in tiny lip balm sized tubes so it’s portable too. And sometimes I put Nuxe reve de miel lip balm underneath it, if my lips are extra dry. But the aquaphor needs to go on top, cos it’s moisturising and occlusive, and it stops moisture evaporating as well as protecting your lips from the wind and the cold.

      I wonder what I’m missing with Aquaohor the healing ointment - it does nothing for me, it just sits on top of my lips and they actually feel more dry after it comes off! The reve de miel is a little better, but nothing like the Laneige lip sleeping mask or Colourpop’s lip masks.

    I’m a big fan of the Laneige lip glowy balm. It comes in a squeezy tube so you don’t have to dig it out of a jar. It’s hydrating, not sticky, and stays on the lips really well. It goes on sale on Amazon every prime day for like $12, but it’s normally $18

    Mac Clear Lipglass.

    It’s thick and heavy and gloopy, but it ain’t budging, and makes my lips look juicy and gorgeous.
