I have never gotten into wearing lip products (or really anything on my lips aside from regular Burt’s bees chapstick). I don’t know why but I just feel so uncomfortable and garish whenever I have any lip stuff on….I think maybe part of it is a texture thing for me? Like, glosses are super sticky and don’t stay on, matte or long lasting lipsticks crack and dry my lips out….I wear a full face everyday but just can’t take the plunge on committing to lip stuff. If I put it on, I wipe it off within 10 minutes.
What do other people consider a daily essential that you just can’t abide? Why do you think that is?
PS do any of you think it’s crazy to imagine full glam minus colored lips? Am I crazy?
ETA spelling
Mascara! I just have nonexistent straight Asian lashes. Almost all mascaras smudge on me and because my kids are literally weighing them down, wearing heavy mascara holds up my eyelids making it double eyelids. Idk if that made sense 😅
I really enjoyed your typo of “kids” instead of kids.
Mascara is tough. I have very short, fair, straight lashes and have started to intermittently only do my top lashes bc of how messy even waterproof mascara ends up looking on me at the end of the day.
This is so beautifully ironic
What can I say? I am such a gracefully flawed wordsmith….
I’m not even going to edit the change one of the “kids” into “lids.” (Without any context, that’s one wild sentence.)
