When you don’t have a foundation that looks BETTER after you’ve been wearing it for hours, separates, sinks into your fine lines and pores, looks cakey.

A really good foundation literally melts into your skin and looks more natural the longer you wear it. You don’t know this until you find one.

Purlisse Ageless Glow is this for me, with Nikkia Joy’s loose velvet finishing powder. They will be staples for me until I die. There’s nothing better.

The Shiseido Synchro Skin foundation seems to work really well for this- I’m in my forties now so I need that foundation to perform!!

I’m making note of the Shiseido and hopefully give it a try if I remember the next time I’m buying new foundation.

Same! I didn’t know foundation was capable of this, and I’m beginning to think it’s that modern formulations are superior. I’m also in my 40’s, and my skin is picky, too. I like Born This Way as well, but Purlisse also has skincare, so I don’t feel as bad when I fall asleep in it and my skin looks nice when I wash it off. With Born This Way, it looks nice on, but I do notice my skill will be a little irritated if I fall asleep in it.
