Think contrast.
Think contrast.
Are you using a setting spray?
Recently someone said castor oil on your eyelashes and it blew my mind.
Placement then
I’m making note of the Shiseido and hopefully give it a try if I remember the next time I’m buying new foundation.
Same! I didn’t know foundation was capable of this, and I’m beginning to think it’s that modern formulations are superior. I’m also in my 40’s, and my skin is picky, too. I like Born This Way as well, but Purlisse also has skincare, so I don’t feel as bad when I fall asleep in it and my skin looks nice when I wash it off. With Born This Way, it looks nice on, but I do notice my skill will be a little irritated if I fall asleep in it.
When you don’t have a foundation that looks BETTER after you’ve been wearing it for hours, separates, sinks into your fine lines and pores, looks cakey.
A really good foundation literally melts into your skin and looks more natural the longer you wear it. You don’t know this until you find one.
Purlisse Ageless Glow is this for me, with Nikkia Joy’s loose velvet finishing powder. They will be staples for me until I die. There’s nothing better.
I have deep set eyes so I don’t like how they look on me. They’re always hitting my brow bone. I like the way wispies look on other women, or full lashes when they aren’t insanely long. Those really long ones look ridiculous to me, so I don’t have to wear them. I also don’t think anyone else is wearing their makeup for me, or so I think they’re attractive. I respect those who do what they want because it makes them happy…
And all cultures are influenced by other cultures. We all travel and move all over the world to live in and be inspired by other cultures, and that’s a good thing.
That’s awesome! My mom built a house with 3 bathrooms when she had 3 daughters, and not one of those bathrooms had a vanity. My middle sister and I were into makeup, too. One of the bathrooms was for us girls to share, and instead, she put two sinks in, with florescent lighting, so nobody wanted to do their makeup in there. We never both needed a sink at the same time. I mean, wtf? We’re sisters, not married.
Curiously, where are you from? This sounds like a southern thing to do.
Purlisse ageless Glow serum and nikkia joy finishing powder. If this doesn’t work for you, I’ll buy it off you. That’s how sure I am you’ll be happy.
Contouring… I go super light with Ofra or KAB, but I’m sure there’s a lot of good options. I’m 49 if that makes any difference.
