Pat McGrath x Bridgerton had really nice shades and formula. Besame has the loveliest vintage inspired packaging. Flower Knows also has some really cute, girlie lip product designs, but I can’t vouch for the formula since I never used it.

There’s always Guerlain’s Rouge G lipstick. Unique, weighty cases, with dozens of lipstick colours to choose from.

Not a real lipstick, but I’ve spent most of my young life trying to find the same shade Audrey Hepburn keeps in her doorbell in Breakfast at Tiffany’s

The closest I think I’ve gotten is Dancefloor Princess by Charlotte Tilbury. It’s rumored to be Revlon “Pink in the Afternoon.”

The makeup artist Lisa Eldridge bought the lipstick case from the film and released a dupe of the colour for her brand, it’s called Go Lightly.

It was limited edition but you might be able to track it down being resold somewhere, or look at dupes on Temptalia.

Fyi she also confirmed the original wasn’t a Revlon lipstick, and Pink in the Afternoon hadn’t even been released at the time the film was made.

Pat McGrath has some great formulas. Some of the packaging is iconic and others are less so.

I have collected lipstick and tried many different formulas and colours throughout the years. I would say my stable lipstick that I come back time and time again has to be Mac lipstick. The variety of formulas and colours just make them a stand out to me and I have never found an alternative that I love more. I would say my favourite shades are Modesty, Hug Me, Ruby woo (a classic), Velvet Teddy and Yash. Plus with it being the festive season it might be a great opportunity to buy a gift set with a few shades in if you are unsure which colour maybe be best for them ☺️🩷

My favorite is the shade Model by Mari Maria Makeup, but I don’t know how easy it is to find it outside of Brazil. It’s the most gorgeous brown lipstick I’ve even seen.

It really depends, what is the person you are gifting undertones? Do they commonly use bright tones or neutral? Stick or liquid? Are they more a lipstick person or gloss person? So many options!

If you want a pretty case I love the ones from florasis or flower knows.

I kind of love how heather shimmer by Rimmel looks on me. It’s perched for every occasion and never looks bad. Just incredible
