Mine is using a disposable mascara wand or eyebrow brush to take away mascara on the face. I can’t remember if it was Shaanxo or Smitha Deepak who taught me this.

If you want a more almond shape eye or foxy eye look, focus on putting mascara on your corner lashes and not in the middle or inner corner - that will round your eyes. I saw that from Kylie Jenner Vogue. And I have been doing it daily, even without eyeliner and my eyes looks so much more shaped and doll like. I sometimes also do my tiny inner lashes and focus on make them angle towards my nose, gives such an ethereal fairy look.

Using liquid lipstick as a base for eyeshadow & spraying setting spray into dry cream eyeshadow to make it work again. Both from Alice Lockhart

The very best hack was buying mica and mixing it with lipstick base. I was buying too much expensive lipsticks. The bases to make the lipstick is much cheaper. I learned it after watching Erin Parsons try different make up recipes.

Drawing your upper lip liner from the corner of your mouth & going up to the Cupid’s bow to create a rounded, fuller look. Learned this from Bailey Sarian.

How to avoid an oily face after you apply foundation:

    • first you put on your daily face cream
    • then primer
    • then translucent powder
    • then the setting spray

    AND THEN the foundation.

I don’t know why and how but i saw one girl do it on tiktok and I thought I’d do it and I kinda haven’t stopped since.

I’ve learned from many Asian beauty influencers about using a dark eyeshadow as a guide for your eyeliner. Apply it like the shape that you like and clean it up, and go over it with your eyeliner. It’s much easier to fix!

I didn’t get this from anyone but I always warm up a dry mascara tube by putting it under my boob. Works like a charm.

This one cracks me up! I saw a bunch of ladies who do this (or put it between their thighs) in another thread. Amazing1

I know it was an Asian makeup artist but I cant remember who (I’m soo sorry!) But if I don’t have the right lipstick to go with my look, I dust my blush on my lips and completely cover my lip line, and add a plumping gloss over it. Sometines i cover my lips completely and sometimes just put the gloss on just the centre of my lips. The powder looks seemless and more natural than you’d think and overall it looks super cute.

Winging your eyeshadow crease color (or a neutral mid tone shade) out and angled toward the tail of your eyebrow, to create a subtle lift and foxy shape.

Using a skin tone eyeshadow or powder foundation to blend out harsh eyeshadow lines or overly pigmented shadows. I learned this from Angela Bright
