I absolutely love Danessa myricks and her multichrome eyeshadows but realistically, I can not spend over $100 on her palettes. I know some indie brands have good multichromes so I was hoping someone could recommend some?

I love Makeup A Murder! They’ve got a ton of eyeshadow shades and they go on so well! Last all day, too!

Multichromes are expensive, especially if they’re from indie brands. It will be very difficult to spend under $100. Some brands out there claim they have multichromes but it’s usually a duochrome.

Lethal Cosmetics has a 6-pan palette for under $100 but it’s always sold out. The brands I like are Clionadh Cosmetics, Terra Moons, Devinah, and JD Glow.

Clionadh has the best multichromes. They are expensive though. Everyone’s multichromes are expensive though. The nice thing about Clionadh and other indie brands is you can just buy singles so you can start with just a couple based on what you can afford.

Danessa myricks (or however the hell you spell it) has these gorgeous mutichrome flakes in gel, you can wear it alone or over eyeshadow. Each pot is only $25 and I’m in love with them!

Shine by SD is my favorite and they have good sales often and the prices aren’t as high as clionadh, but just as beautiful.

You could check out Odens eye, they have quite a lot of multichromes both single shadows and their palettes mostly includes at least one multichrome. Love their eyeshadow formula in general! Their price range is in the middle I would say, not cheap, but also not crazy expensive compared to the high end.

Their black friday sale is usually very good.

Clionadh! I have a lot of their multichromes and they’re basically the only eyeshadow that I wear anymore. They’re all singles, and you can buy a magnetic palette to put them in if you need a way to store them. They have like a dozen different formulas/families of multichromes. And, even though lots of them are super sparkly, they don’t use plastic glitter. It’s all mica and stuff like that for the shimmer. I love that for environmental and safety reasons.

The really shifty ones are the Jeweled line. They’re the classic multichromes with a black base and are really pricy. I like them, but they’re not super wearable for me, so I’d recommend passing on them unless you already know that you like them.

The glitter multichromes are really popular, and I think they’re very wearable as a topper or as an eyeshadow. They’re also more budget friendly. I’m also a fan of the hybrid and earth vibrant multichromes for similar reasons. These 3 are my go-to families for daily wear.

The irridescents (series 1, 2, and glitter irridescents) are stunning as inner corner highlights. I have heard that they can look a bit ashy on darker skin tones because of the white base. But they make a deep irridescent line that is designed with darker skin tones in mind!

They have a lot of pictures for each shade and do comparison/swatch videos on their instagram, so you can see what you’re getting. But I have a ton from them, so if you have questions about specific shades, let me know!

Devinah Cosmetics sells multichrome singles. Their Black Friday sale starts tomorrow so multichromes are a few dollars cheaper for the sale. I’m not sure how good they are but all the other shimmer and matte shadows I’ve bought are great quality.

Looxi is the cheapest you will find at $3 under Auroras. The duo chromes are really nice. Some shadows are more subtle multichrome. They’re pretty they just don’t have a super strong shift.

Honestly, I carefully selected four Clionadh eyeshadows (I believe they’re on sale right now, and I believe affiliate codes stack?) and now all my multichrome needs are met. How often are you going to wear multichromes in your day to day?
