Glow Recipe and Drunk Elephant skincare are SUPER popular among younger generations. I also highly recommend getting her a good skin tint (I’m using almay clear complexion but I used to use tarte), some Korean skincare (I use Carecella), and drugstore makeup as their formulas rival that of luxury brands.
If you wanna match her foundation shade, make sure it matches the skin on her neck, not her face or hand.

I recommend physician’s formula, great brand for sensitive skin and if you like neutrals/nudes. It’s a drugstore brand, you can find it at ulta or walmart/target. For foundation, I highly recommend the almay clear complexion foundation (also drugstore). Make sure you match it to your neck, not your face or hand
Lunatick cosmetic labs makes a palette with a SUPER pigmented black, it’s also shimmery if you like that too. If you want something more matte, the i-divine acid palette by sleek makeup has a matte black (and a cool gun metal grey). Both palettes also have neon colors, and they’re great for halloween makeup. For a baby pink, I recommend the huda beauty nude light palette, it’s the only nude palette I actually like
Ngl, I just wear whatever colors I want and they look good. Not sure if I’m just delusional or if it’s because I never wear makeup that isn’t colorful. Literally the only brown eyeshadow I use is the stila eyeshadow duo in the shade velveteen dream
I just started used the almay clear complex foundation, and it’s the BEST foundation I’ve ever used! Light coverage with a perfect, skin-like finish. When I blended it out it practically disappeared right into my skin
Also, I’ve heard adapalene gel can be used to treat rosacea (if you use it correctly), so perhaps it’ll help with that
Winged eyeliner, bold black lashes, and shimmery eyeshadow (preferably bright colors)
I just rub grapeseed oil all over my face then wash it off with soap and water (or a foam cleanser), then I use a cotton pad with some oil on it to wipe off any extra that didn’t come off
Fenty beauty hella thicc mascara, my ma has thin and short lashes, but when she’s wearing that you can clearly notice an increase in volume. If you want something cheaper, use essence lash princess mascara, specifically the false lash effect one
Wipe the extra foundation off, or you can do your eye makeup first, then the foundation

Danessa myricks (or however the hell you spell it) has these gorgeous mutichrome flakes in gel, you can wear it alone or over eyeshadow. Each pot is only $25 and I’m in love with them!

Milani eyeshadow primer, that shit is the GOAT. I also recommend elf’s hydro grip primers, it’s hold onto your makeup tight. I also recommend a tubing mascara, essence’s “bye bye panda eyes” is a good one, and physician’s formula organic wear liquid eyeliner is long lasting too
Physician’s formula, you can find their concealer at walmart or target. I haven’t used it before, but I’ve used their other products and they have lots of good stuff for your skin in them
I used to do mine in the bathroom, but now I have a proper vanity and all of my makeup is there. If you’re nearsighted like me, I highly recommend having a vanity to do your makeup. Since I have TONS of makeup, I just organize all of it in a bunch of drawers and shelves next to the vanity, my actual vanity is really small (since it’s meant for little girls)
Sunset makeup is super good! The owner is also lgbtq (nonbinary), so another plus from me. Their colorful foundations are better quality than a face paint, full coverage, long lasting, and don’t feel greasy, perfect for costumes or cosplay
I’ve heard good things about it, but personally I don’t like it. I’d buy if it wasn’t associated with SHEIN
If you have hyperpigmentation acne scars, you can get rid of those by using niacinamide daily, takes a while to show results but it works
The foundation I use most frequently is by Rimmel London, medium coverage but not a good shade range for darker skin. You can use a dewy setting spray or loose powder over it to get that natural, shiny finish
For liquid blush, I recommend Rare Beauty since it’s really popular, but I’ve also heard good things about sheglam and Juvia’s Place liquid blushes
TooFaced, rem beauty, Fenty Beauty, Huda Beauty, and Dior are my favorite luxury brands. I highly recommend the eyeshadows from TooFaced, rem, and Huda. Fenty has a REALLY good mascara called the Hella Thicc volumizing mascara, it looks especially good if your lashes are already long. Dior has super pretty lipsticks, and their blushes and highlighters are very popular too. I also suggest getting her the manga collection highlighter from Rude, it’s the most bright and gorgeous highlighter I’ve ever seen.
Glamlite isn’t higher end like the other brands I mentioned, but they have SUPER pigmented eyeshadows palettes. My favorites are from the Hershey collection and Barbie Dream Summer palette
