Hi! What is your favorite mascara? Looking for something that does NOT flake at all. I’ve tried sooo many and I’m tired of wasting my money. Anyone have any recommendations? I don’t even care about the price anymore lol! Thanks in advance ☺️
Maybelline Sky High. It’s a tubing mascara. It’s doesn’t smudge or flake on me, and it doesn’t irritate my eyes.
This. I use the cosmic black one in the black tube and man I can sleep in it and it doesn’t go anywhere lol

Tarte lights camera lashes 4 in 1!! I got it in my monthly Ipsy thing ~2 years ago and I’ve never looked away. It’s amazing and the waterproof is so good too

Make sure you prep your lashes right:
•Do all your makeup.•
Dip a clean spoolie brush in water and brush all excess powder from lashes
•Dry lashes and brush out and up with clean dry spoolie
•Curl Lashes (optional)
•Apply MascaraSometimes flaking can be from too much powder product fall out on your lashes .
If you don’t clean off your lashes at night with a spoolie, you could also be combating product build up on lashes. That can cause poor application too.
I don’t wear all alot of makeup to be honest, so I don’t wear powder. I do use an eyelash curler. I know about all of the tricks. I started using a spoolie in high school. I would curl my lashes, apply my mascara and then run spooling through them until they were perfect lol. I’m also old(er) 44. But I got sooo many compliments on them. All the girls were asking how did you get your eyelashes like that 😂
I recently got L’Oréal voluminous mascara in brown black after hearing so many amazing reviews. The mascara makes my lashes voluminously long, soft and flake free. I bought two (minimum quantity on Amazon) and it was a way better deal than getting it at the drug store.
I use covergirl lash blast. It doesn’t flake or go anywhere
UNLESS I rub my eyes. I do wonder if you are having this issue because you rub your eyes. Most mascaras now don’t flake unless you’re rubbing them

I was a L’Oréal voluminous devotee for many many years, but as I’ve gotten older, it’s started smudging on me. I’ve had the best success with Merit and Caliray. Both have tubing mascaras that don’t smudge, flake, or budge.

Essence Falsies super cheap and stays all day. It’s just amazing.

I have always struggled with flaking. No matter how great it goes on, it will start to fall apart right away.
The only ones that really work for me are Estée Lauder Bold and Sumptuous, and the L’Oréal Voluminous line. DHC surprisingly also has a good mascara.
That said, I read once that flaky mascara was the result of not letting each coat of dry, before applying the next. I am too impatient for that, unfortunately.

Clinique’s new high-fi mascara is great if you’ve got sensitive eyes. My eyes burn and ache with most mascaras but that one works well for me and gives me nice defined lashes.
