Hi all, I’m looking to purchase my first mechanical watch in the next couple of months and am seriously considering either the Hanhart 417 ES 42mm or Tudor Black Bay Chrono. I really love the reverse panda. The Hanhart is quite a bit cheaper than the Tudor but the Tudor has a few advantages such as 200m water resistance. Which would you choose?
Hanhart, but with red accent on pusher.
Hanhart by a mile on this one. Definitely a cooler piece.
Hanhart, wow that is nice.
Hanhart, that dial is amazing.
Between these 2, the hanhart. This wasnt asked but man zenith pilot chrono is also cool- but wayyyy pricey
Is this a trick question?
Hanhart, obviously.
Tudor, the fit is incredible.
Hanhart. I’m also fairly sure the bezel rotates so you can roughly track hours or minutes.
Hanhart! No snowflake hand blocking the sundials, and the bezel will be useful for tracking elapsed hours.
Chewda
Hanhart! I’ve chatted with Simon, their showrunner/master watchmaker - he’s the best. 10x more character in a Hanhart, whatever that’s worth. Both are exceptional watches though.
Flyback. Nice.
I love a no date chronograph 💙
Isn‘t the Hanhart really thick? If so, Tudor
I have a BB58 but went with the Hanhart
