i’m new to blush and thought i’d try the milan cream blushes but now that I think about it, think cream blushes might not be the way to go for my super oily skin. is my only option powder blush? any recommendations for blushes available at ulta?

Powder is best. You could also try cheek stains but those don’t work for all. Stains are nice if you don’t want to feel a layer of powder on your face.

Do you use any setting sprays or primers?

I really like Benefits blush line. It stays on for most of the day even when I was working in hot/humid environments. It blends out very naturally too. Good “day look”/everyday blush. They also have minis.

I do! I use the elf putty primer and the nyx matte setting spray. also been using liquid foundation - will that affect the powder blush at all?

Yes. I personally find elf products do not last on my face. I do like the tatcha primer though which is what the elf putty primer is the dupe for. The mini tatcha is 24$ I would treat yourself to that. A little bit goes a long way vs elf.

Powder can go over oil based or water based makeup so it is pretty versatile.

I have not tried the nyx matte but their stuff usually is pretty decent. Urban Decay all nighter is my favorite. I think it is the dupe version of the nyx. I do like a lot of nyx products but the UD mini is 16$ I usually have to remove it by using oil or a cream cleanser on my face first to loosen it up, then a foaming cleanser.
