Ok I’m pretty confused about highlighters. I think I have shimmery highlighters and I just realised they kinda look weird on my face, maybe because they’re not supposed to be applied in the natural highlighter areas? Not sure. Anyway, I’m not sure when or how to use shimmery highlighter and natural highlighter. Like what sort of occasions/everyday and how? Also what are some good natural highlighters you would recommend?
My all time favourite highlighter is MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. It’s great because it doesn’t have a base that creates a dark cast in different angles like other highlighters do. Depending on your skintone you might need a different shade. But I would recommend that you see them in store and swatch them because I also have a different shade named Lightscapade and I don’t like it that much. The finish is different and it’s also whiter. I have gone through Soft and Gentle 3 times even though it lasts about a year with everyday use and I keep buying it.
