I was reading on Twitter and a make up artist posted that the new make up trend would be “Tonal Glam.” And from what I’ve read it essentially means highlighting the different best features on a person and using various tones to bring them out.
What do you guys think?
I saw the tonal glam thread it just seemed like someone trying to create the next viral makeup trend. Hasnt highlighting our best features been extremely trendy these past years already?
It’s not highlighting your “best” features, it’s the opposite. It’s facial balancing and harmony. It’s more a natural approach to makeup which is a change from the, for example, currently trending bright baby pink blush everyone is wearing.
And the reality is all makeup trends are the same thing in different fonts, recycled over the years and dressed up as something new.
