  • You might need to change brands and/or try a different undertone. There are a few dimensions of color to consider in your foundation

    1. light vs. dark
    2. warm (yellow) vs. cool (pink)
    3. high/saturated vs. low/unsaturated

Saturation reflects how intense the coloring is. For instance, if you put a more saturated foundation on more unsaturated complexion that’s how you get the oompa loompa look. For someone with more intensity to their complexion, lower intensity foundation, which Nars is in my experience, may make you look paler or even sickly.

If you feel like you look washed out with your foundation, it might be because the saturation of your foundation is too low or your foundation is too cool toned. I would recommend searching other brands besides Nars onto your jawline to find a foundation that disappears. Not every brand or formulation will have a color that works for you.

  • Love, love, love the stretch concealer. I apply it with a beauty blender to conceal undereye circles and redness without looking like I’m wearing makeup and it’s perfect for this application.

Everything else I’ve tried from them is underwhelming.

Liquid eyeshadows made my skin it itch Generation g was drying and went on kind of patchy. Haloscope hard to blend and didn’t wear well.
