Lately I’ve been wanting to rock the clean, fresh-faced look and I’m thinking about switching but curious what others think.

Also, how do you pronounce glossier? lol

I adore glossier face products, my own personal style is very natural no makeup barely there so suits me perfectly. The skin tint is my favourite product, if you’re looking for any meaningful coverage it’s not the product for that but for my preferences it’s perfect. Their concealer is my favourite concealer and the new stretch foundation has replaced luminous silk for me as my going out foundation!

I’ve tried quite a few products so this is going to be a long comment

I personally love it I have dry skin and live in the desert so products like future dew and the stretch concealer are great for me. The future dew really helps me keep that dewy fresh skin look all day. I find that the concealer blends well and looks natural but does need to be set, it covers my dark circles but not my freckles which I love. The skin tint is meh for me, it’s fine and I use it but I prefer the cover girl skin milk. I love the power and use it every time I do my makeup, it sets my face without leaving my skin powdery or too matte.

I use the ultra lip for a soft wash of color and enjoy the shade range. The blushes are nice but I do find they can kind of “blend away”, it’s a great baby’s first liquid blush because it blends beautifully and is hard to over do but it’s not very pigmented. I like the mascara and find it lasts well on me it’s very natural but I have long, dark, and curly eyelashes anyway so I find it just gives them a subtle boost without getting clumpy, if you have shorter eyelashes or thin eyelashes I would skip it.

The shimmer liquid eyeshadows are beautiful for a subtle wash of color, they can be left alone for a natural look and look great with smudged eyeliner for a more “done up” look, they tend to settle into the creases of your eye. The highlighter is beautiful but if you use it over foundation it will lift, it has a beautiful glow and pairs well with the blush. The matte liquid shadows blend nicely but I prefer the about-face shadows.

The generation G lipsticks are cute but can be a bit dry I like using them with lip gloss. The lip gloss is great it’s not too sticky and the red leaves a nice wash of color. The balm dot com is nice but I haven’t tried the new reformulation.

The zinc and niacinamide serum is very nice and I also enjoy the vitamin c and magnesium one but you can find better for cheaper. The cleanser concentrate was too drying for my face but I love it on my body and someone with oiler skin might enjoy it, it’s exfoliating and smells great. The milky jelly cleanser is nothing to write home about I have a mini I use for travel as a one step cleanser because it removes makeup well.

    TLDR

All in all I think it’s a great brand for low-key low effort make up. It’s pricier than drug store but definitely low range for Sephora. Most of the products are pretty dupable but often give the the most subtle look in their category. Test some out at Sephora, if you get anything get the powder but skip the skincare.

I use the brow flick but only as eyeliner for the lower lash line, I don’t use it much on my brows.

I recently got the holiday editions of Balm dotcom because they’re in the original formula that everyone hyped up and I genuinely love them! Nothing else has really caught my eye though. I can do the Glossier “look” with my current makeup by just applying less lol so I don’t see the point in spending more money

So many ways to rock the look but doesn’t have to be all from one brand.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about the brand, some products are good, some are meh… The blushes are supposed to be good, as are they lip balms but that’s about it (according to my daughter). Personally I’ve never found that brand interesting and it’s never caught my eye… Even when they finally came to Sephora Canada I was iike “oh that’s new” and walked right by it 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

Here are the products I use for a fresh look:

Dior forever concealer, saie blush in Rosy or Tower28 in office hours. In the summer I use the shade rush hour. Kiss me heroine pencil liner in brown, ilia tinted lip balm or Tower28 lip jelly.

But my #1 - skin care has to be on point. Get your skin hydrated and glowing and you’re good to go 👊

I liked their mascara and Boy Brow and their concealer is great for dry skin. The mascara is super natural in a way a lot of people will find pointless. It’s a bummer how the packaging graphics get rubbed off easily on the boy brow but the product is good and I’ve not found a good dupe for it yet, everything people claim is a dupe isn’t a dupe at all just for not getting the color right. The concealer is dewy which works since my skin is dry from tretinoin but will be too wet for a lot of people.

Nothing else they make interests me.

I’ve only tried one product–their liquid eyeshadow. I almost didn’t try it after reading reviews of people saying it burned. I didn’t have any reaction to it, but it just was too sheer and looked like nothing, so it’s going back to Sephora. Ulta brand liquid shadow has actually been my favorite so far!

Love, love, love the stretch concealer. I apply it with a beauty blender to conceal undereye circles and redness without looking like I’m wearing makeup and it’s perfect for this application.

Everything else I’ve tried from them is underwhelming.

Liquid eyeshadows made my skin it itch Generation g was drying and went on kind of patchy. Haloscope hard to blend and didn’t wear well.

I’ve been using the skin tint since they launched it, I’ve tried similar products from other brands but keep coming back to it. Also a big fan of boy brow and the cloud paint blush. Everything else is meh IMO.
