I do skin care (wash, tone, moisturizer, oil), 90% of hair to let the skin care set, makeup, finish my hair (I have bangs so those are last and any hair accessories).
I don’t think there’s a right order, but more what works for you. I never get my hair soaking wet in the morning, so dry time isn’t an issue but I do need time for my bangs to set before I let them down. I also don’t wear foundation.
I love false lashes. I don’t wear makeup regularly enough to wear them often but I love them anyway. I definitely lean towards more natural ones but they just fit my eye better. I have hooded lids that tend to absorb everything into the crease void.
I think bold lashes are a look that many people here don’t like but to me it kinda falls in the category of people who say lining your lips especially in brown liner with a lighter middle looks bad. It’s a style. It’s not meant to look real.
I have a much longer essay in my heart about how mainstream beauty communities treat styles that are created and popular in communities of color but I’ll save that for another time.
