1 year agoI always use the clumps that have the straight edge- some clumps come to a point at end where you connected to your lashline, an those are a bit difficult still. I have struggled my WHOLE LIFE with lash application until I saw a YT short about it and my mind was blown- I can get a full set on in less than 5 minutes now. Hopefully I can explain it!
My problem was always that when I let go of the lash, it hung down or just didn’t adhere to my lash and fell off [like immediately, not after 10 or 60 mins]. If I somehow did get it to hold on and dry, once I pushed up on the mid-shaft to get it to align with my lashes, it would fall off immediately. Here’s how I fixed it:
- Sit down and set up a mirror that you can look down into at an angle.
- Add glue, more glue than you think you need, to the lash line AND brush it up 1/3 of the lashes. Gently wipe any excess glue that bled into the underside of the lashes [the part that will touch your lower lash line when your eyes are closed]
- Line it up with your lash line and slowly drag it up your lashes like you’re brushing your real lashes with the fake lash strip line. This will smear a little bit of glue on your lashes where they’ll connect with the fake lashes not only on the base, but midshaft of the lashes too [which also have a bit of glue on them already from step 2]
- After one swipe, line up the lash clump properly, apply, and gently push up on the mid-shaft of the lash with the back of your tweezers.
