A light touch with a good brush designed for blending. Typically a little bigger and fluffier than your application brushes. If you take off too much you can always reapply.

I have a dedicated space in an unused dining room. A 10 seat dining room table pushed up against the wall, chairs in storage. A comfy wheeled office chair. Various makeup storage items, an adjustable light with 3 light tones, large makeup mirror with one magnified side, a file cabinet drawer for pallets and a desk pad. A brush hanger for storing or drying brushes. It’s a lot. Only 2 years ago I wore NO makeup. I had been depressed for years since my husband died. Several things changed in my life and my depression lifted. I started to care about my appearance. I got obsessed with makeup. I finally got my groove back, so that’s alright with me. 💄💋
Finding Ferdinand ‘The Lip Balm’. $30. Claimed to have a cult following. Instagram posts claimed it lasts longer and is better than Clinique Black Honey, which is my go to. I’ve had cheap chapstick that put more color and moisture on my lips. I could not get any color to deposit.
Since you mentioned weight, are you Type 2 Diabetic or even pre-diabetic? I was in your position and weighed 297 pounds. I am T2 D so I qualified for a prescription of Mounjaro. It is one of those GLP 1 meds. You’ve probably heard of Ozempic? It is similar to that but Mounjaro is reportedly more effective. Here is a link to the Reddit sub on Mounjaro (MJ).

I’ve lost 59 pounds to date, and have blown my budget on makeup. I am feeling so much more confident, beautiful. I hate going without my makeup now. All the suggestions for how to apply makeup are good ones. You should try them all. But reading between the lines, I see you. And thought this information might help you.
Getting lint on my mascara? No thanks. I just wipe the excess off the tip of the wand on the rim of the mascara tube.
