I use foundation like a concealer, i.e covering blemishes and uneven skin. Other than that my skin is bare. Concealer is too thick for my sensitive skin, it literally feels heavy and like my skin is suffocating. Even with foundation I can only use lightweight ones.
Practice, and then once you’re fully practiced you can work on retaining accuracy while increasing speed. I’ve never been able to do a full face in under 45 minutes, though, even when speed-running. I recommend checking to see if you can skip certain parts of your routine and still get the same result.
I just use 100% lanolin. If the pharmacy doesn’t have it I just buy a breastfeeding ointment. If it works on chapped nipples, it’ll work on chapped lips. 😁
Idk what exactly your level is but Wayne goss is great imo. He goes into great detail about every product he uses and he has tutorials that explain face shapes and undertones which could be important to you if you want to wear a full face or even foundation. If he’s too much for you, try to come back to him later. His tutorials are the most informative that I know of that start from scratch.
Ex stripper here, worked in a club with bad lighting. I feel you. I’d spend an hour+ in the girls room only to go out into the dark club and realize I look like an infant with mascara. 🤣
Check what your products are based on. For oily skin, surprisingly, oil/silicone based products hold best (though they induce acne). Water based products can crack and appear blotchy if the skin is oily enough. This is doubly so if you use products that are based on different consistencies. Say, if your foundation is water based, but your primer and moisturiser are oil/silicone based, it’s gonna look bad, and vice versa, and even if the primer and moisturiser are different bases.
