Omega dynamic from 1969, because I wanted a cool vintage piece that wasn’t the same as 99% of everyone else’s collection, and also a 1977 Accurist, which was a watch my mother bought for my grandad with her first pay as an adult.
Both of them still keep perfect time, which is bonkers in my mind!
Pretty sure that they guarantee a different watch every delivery. (Or at least they did when I was a member back in 2019)
Obviously mistakes happen and usually a reach out to their over the top customer service would get it sorted in most cases.
Not had the pleasure of them for a few years though so not sure if their model has changed along the way.

When I first started trying to grow my collection, maybe 4-5 years back I was a bit embarrassed to admit to my wife that I wanted to spend some of my newly found pay rise on more watches, so I bought a cheap one (think it was about £90) and showed her. Explained as best I could that I loved watches, but would never spend any of the house money on them, it would only ever be ‘spare’ money. (No idea what that is anymore like….)
I found then that being upfront about it all meant she was happy I wouldn’t bankrupt us, and I was happy that I could continue with my obsession. She knows that I would sell a watch to fund something if/when needed also and not do anything daft.
She’s now part of the hobby albeit in a smaller way than myself, and even took me to a boutique in Sorrento earlier this year to try on a Monaco I’d been mumbling about wanting. (I bottled out of the purchase though!!)
Have a scout on eBay for one of these. Nice watches, I’ve had a couple of models from them over the years.
The Cartier is next on my hitlist, classic watch.
I tried a Monaco on in Italy a few months back as I was in love with them, and the size really took me by surprise, so I ended up swerving it in the end. (I have super skinny wrists so it looked obscene on me)
