I never used to leave my house without being done up to the nines, but then the pandemic happened and I didn’t wear makeup for a year and a half. Then when everything opened back up, I was like, “Meh.” This might seem counterproductive but when I decided I didn’t want to go through the whole process everyday, I started watching YouTube tutorials and practicing the “No-makeup makeup look.” I use a powder foundation to even out my skin tone, rub a tiny bit of neutral eyeshadow on my lids with my fingers, mascara, a tiny bit of bronzer and a long lasting lip stain. The great thing about makeup is that you get to decide how much or how little to wear it!!

It depends. If it’s just my everyday makeup look, I usually sit on my bed or couch, with a mirror. Yes I brought everything with me. If I’m going out somewhere nice, I go to my vanity (In my house, my master bathroom has one built in). I like it because the lights are much brighter in there, so I can really see.
As long as she understands what’s happening and is able to sit still, it seems like a great idea. Every woman deserves to feel beautiful, no matter her age.
