It makes the “clack” louder.
The Pro Yellows 3.0 sound amazing in a stock board, if you want to enhance their sound I highly recommend the tape mod. Anyway, nice build!
I am sorry to hear that your workplace is forcing you to use their OEM boards :(
Being into this hobby for a while, the thought of typing on an office membrane keyboard while at work for most of the day was a downgrade to what I enjoyed at home. So, in this case, I decided to take one of my GMK67 boards and use some stealthy keycaps to not bring much attention to it at work. I think I may replace the switches because the current ones that I am using are a bit clacky, and although I very much enjoy the sound of them, they may be a bit loud in a quiet office environment.
Specs:
Board - GMK67
Switches - Gateron Pro Yellow 3.0 stock
Keycaps - Black minimalistic PBT with Hiragana Sub legends
Mods:
I have no issues with it but the aluminum alloy case does not feel like the most premium material, but for the price, I’d say it’s well worth it.
