I keep getting ads for this product. I have gotten a few shadow pallettes from them and I feel like they just don’t blend. Or go on splotchy.

I recently picked up a royal blue pallete with some gold and orange colors. The blue goes on super splotchy and does not blend at all with any of the other colors. When the base colors don’t like blending.

Am i missing something? It seems like their Price point is just really high considering how little luck I have with them.

Every once in a while I’ll come across a color that doesn’t blend well, but that happens with every brand. I think some shades are just hard to apply or blend. Others are easy. Thats why we end up with so many silvery whites, and coppery golds - its easy to make those colors at every price point.

I got a single as a GWP and was pretty impressed with how easily it blended with other random eyeshadow. Think mattes are typically more difficult though.

I feel the same way! In addition to the patchiness, I get tons of fallout - which I think means the formulation is drier than I prefer, but don’t quote me on that.

No absolutely the same, the first time I used them I was mortified at how patchy, splotchy, muddy and underwhelming they could be and sadly that hasn’t changed a whole lot still.

I feel like the shimmers look more subdued on my lids, like a subtle cream fornula, and the sparkly shades have way too much fallout. The worst offenders are the midtone mattes.

I’m always left wanting with the looks I achieve with these and despite going on a whole learning curve to figure out how to wrangle them I still don’t actually look forward to reaching for them.

There’s no reason they should be sold at that price point even if they work for a lot of other people’s lid/skin type. They’re okay, definitely not the gold standard that everyone hypes them up to be

I have learned that these pallettes are controversial! Giving mine away to a friend that loves her products and moving on. Lol

I sometimes wonder if I’m missing something too. I’ve tried Natasha‘s pallets and they’re fine, nothing to write home about. Absolutely not worth the high to ridiculous price point when there are so many other brands doing it better for less. 🤷‍♀️

I’ve tried it and tried to hype myself up to justify the price point, but there are cheaper brands I prefer over her(bh cosmetics or even beauty bay). They never let me down and the colour story is always interesting and not repetitive like in some of ND pallets

I’m madly in love with my ND palettes and rotate daily between glam, need a nude, and Mario’s ethereal eyes. Maybe it’s not a good fit for your skin? I have no idea. I also heard she changed formulas a long time back? I do put foundation and concealer that I set with powder when I set under my eyes so maybe that’s why it behaves well on me?

I think it’s a more difficult formula to work with than anyone ever says. Compared to others, even those in the same price range, the mattes especially seem to take a bit more work. I definitely don’t think they are super beginner friendly which makes me sideye all the BGs who gush endlessly.

As a brown girl with neutral olive undertones, the colour of the ND palettes are very odd on my skin tone. The ones that look brown on the pan show up pink/orange on my skin?? It doesn’t make sense haha because of this I always have to swatch in person, so maybe you’re better off swatching and trying to blend it on the back of your hand before you buy it and see how it blends with your fingers??
