Even if you haven’t tried every single product from that brand, are you convinced there’s nothing good they sell?

I’m so mad that they’re the only one I’ve been able to find with a soft black eyebrow product. My eyebrows are black but not blue black and it’s impossible to find anything that works for me. The kybrow kits aren’t even good but it’s what I’m stuck with because no one else seems to make the shade I need.

I’ve consistently had better luck with Asian brands. Black is the most common hair color in the planet and the majority of Asian clientele have black eyebrow hairs so if you can’t formulate good brow cosmetics for black eyebrows you simply do not stay in business. Shu Uemera hard brow pencil in seal brown and soft grey should work for most people with black hair and Tony Moly designing eyebrow grey pencil is also good.

I love Benefit precisely my brow in grey. ABH and NYX in Taupe are also good choices for pretty much any hair color. It’s neutral not too warm and not harsh. I like to line my brows with the benefit and then draw little hairs to fill them in with taupe. I prefer the NYX to the ABH as well.

Have you tried any of the Sephora brand brow pencils in Soft Charcoal? That color is my go-to, and my brows are also black. Anything darker is too black/blue, anything lighter is too brown/warm, but that shade is the chef’s kiss.

Check out the Shu Uemura hard formula eye pencils! They have several dark ash brown options. My favourite for my natural soft black eyebrow colour is actually their grey colour pencil. I’m a MAC NC35 if that helps.

L’Oréal and NYX both make proper neutral black (not blue-black or brown-black) brow products!

otherwise, check out some k-beauty brands, as they often have some seemingly good black brow products :)

Try Maybelline’s micro brow pencil in black brown. I dye my hair as black as I can and this gives me a really nice black but not as harsh as black eyeliner.

Idk that the background of the brand is top notch bc I just read some comments recently implying they’re not, but I have the same problem and have found the Anastasia Brow Whiz pencil in granite to be my best color. I have dark brown hair and black eyebrows, but black is too dark and dark brown is too brown

Ohh thanks for the suggestion! I’ll have to check that out in person soon. For me black isn’t usually too dark, it’s just that the blue undertones add too much sheen for it to look natural. I’ve never fully been able to figure my stuff out but I think I’m either a cool or neutral pale olive (with green eyes and really dark brows and lashes) so finding shades that work for me in different products is always a frustrating mystery.

I have auburn hair so actually use Mac eyeshadow. They have such a wide range, it is easy to find a complimentary colour and it is high quality so stays all day without fading or bleeding.

Haus Labs has a gray that is more of a soft black. Their eyebrow pencils have great reviews as well. I just picked up a couple of soft blondes, the only brand I have found so far that matches my eyebrows!

Have you had a look at the benefit brow stuff? I get my pomade from there and their shades are really natural and neither under nor over saturated with red or blue tones, even when you start blending the product

The Ashley Strong Affirmations palette has a black eyeshadow I use on my brows, my hair is almost black too and it’s perfect

I have the Money Baby palette from a couple years back and love it lol, super pigmented and easy to blend. Got a couple other random things like a matte bullet lipstick I love, and this shimmery eyeshadow single thing which is drier than I’d like but still beautiful. Guess you either just got unlucky with what you got or I just got lucky with mine 😅

Their Matte lip kits were honestly the best when they first came out, but have fallen off badly since
