Every pair of skate and the former pro i’ve had done this. Never happened to me with the classics or anaheims.

You can try to glue it together but it won’t last too long. Beat them down for as long as they hold up and get a new pair, circle of life 🤷‍♂️

They don’t actually make the pros anymore, they call them skate old schools now. Skate old schools fit a bit tighter, have removable insoles and duracap around the toe and “kickflip area”.

Regular oldschools have slightly thinner fabric, glued in flat insole with no arch support and are generally a more of an everyday shoe than a skate shoe.

If it’s to just wear them daily get a pair of classics or try the Anaheim ones instead.

Sneaker cleaners like crep protect, jason mark etc. You can usually buy a kit with a brush and a cleaning liquid. I personally only machine wash the ones I don’t care about anymore.

I hate them too, i ended up stuffing the toe area with some socks and steaming them up. It’s got a bit better.
