Covergirl cool effects foundation. Felt light as air going on but still gave medium coverage and it smelled like cucumbers. I’ve never found a foundation as good as that one and I’m still not over it.

I read kvd bought the patent to their mascara formula when Marc Jacobs discontinued their make up and.
I do toner, serum, moisturizer or sunscreen. Next I do my eye makeup while my skincare settles into my skin then I prime, color correct, foundation concealer, brows, blush, bronzer and contour, powder then highlighter. Last is lips.
I don’t think there’s a right or wrong order. Just whatever works for you. I still don’t understand underpainting though. Just seems like more work and more product
Don’t get anything expensive. Ulta, morphe, ELF, real techniques all have great beginner friendly brush sets. Just make sure there’s a mix of eye and face brushes and at least 6 in the set. Cheaper brushes are fine to use and more expensive ones don’t make that much of a difference in terms of quality. Just make sure the handle has a good counter weight and the bristles won’t fall out. Also this is a personal preference but I’m not a fan of brushes with a wooden handle because I can’t wash them without the wood cracking. I prefer plastic for that reason.

Also don’t sleep on their skincare. The formulations aren’t the best but they have really good ingredients that you only see in more expensive skincare
I’ve actually never tried anything from her. All her products seem very basic in cute packaging which I can find easily in cheaper brands. The prices are ridiculous compared to other brands
When they start to smell bad or separate. The exception is mascara that gets thrown out every 6 months
