I use both but not at the same time. Depending on what I’m wearing, warm colors, warm makeup from blush to shadow to lips. Cool colors, cool makeup colors. Neutral colors like white or black? Whatever I’m in the mood for. But I’ll never wear a cool blush with warm lips…etc…I don’t mix. My foundation is always in the neutral range. If I’m wearing cool colors like pink or lavender, I wear a lighter foundation and go for that fresh look…if I’m wearing yellow, coral, colors I’ll go more bronze.

I think it depends on your skintone on how you want to look sunkissed but not too bronzed or pale. I suggest a Bronzy Blush like TheBalm Balm Desert, Flower Beauty heatwave Bronzer in Sunrise or Chanel Les Beiges Blush Stick in no.20 and use it as blush and where you bronze. You dont need an extra blush while using these because they have that pink tone in them that can double as a blonzer. Also I think Bare Minerals have GEN NUDE® Blonzer® Blush + Bronzer.

I am neutral to warm with a bit of olive on my body. I use more neutral foundations because it looks healthier than using a super yellow foundation. I dislike using anything too warm because it clashes with my skintone and I can bring the orange tone out of pinks/peaches. For bronzer I use a neutral to cool contour and thats about it. It ends up looking warmer on me. I actually enjoy a cool toned red blush worn lightly. It looks like i’am naturally blushing. I guess Ive been doing the “strawberry girl” makeup since 2014 so it was funny seeing it trending over the past decade in different names(Drunk Blush, Im Cold, in from the cold)

It all depends what you’re trying to achieve, I guess. I don’t use foundation. Or bronzer. Or contour. I’ve never found a way to make those work for me, I just look dirty. Truth be told I rarely even wear eyeshadow, for the same reason.

I do wear blush, that’s a must-have for me! Blush is my primary means of adding dimension to my look. Rose shades are generally a safe bet.

I love a true red lip. It’s rare for any other color to look right on me, everything else pulls either orange or purple on me, it’s absolutely bonkers.

Lavender corrector powder to dust on if things look too yellow or orange. I avoid anything that looks like it has a strong blue undertone in any color.

I’m indian with neutral.undertones. Took me ages to work that out.

Honestly, I check if a foundation skews yellow because that looks the worst on me. Makes me look muddy. I’d rather wear a cool toned foundation and then warm it up with something.

I wear very light bronzers because those are unlikely to be very warm. I also aim for strategic paleness under my eyes to get a highlighted effect and use illuminating strobing liquids as those usually are neutral and then apply concealer.

The market is oversaturated with warm stuff but most people aren’t really THAT warm. The cppl.toned makeup is much more subtle so when in doubt by neutral or cool and then just add in warmth when you need it.

Also, colour correcting really helps things look even.

Your blush colour should simply be a lighter shade of your actual lips. It can never go wrong

I use a neutral foundation with a peach concealer, or vice versa. Once it’s all blended out it looks super natural for me, but it all depends on your exact skin tone
